***MATH HOMEWORK WILL BE GIVEN
MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY***
| Monday | We will read our weekly story that day throughout the school day. They will have comprehension questions that they will have to answer in complete sentences. Study Spelling Words for the week. |
| Tuesday | Vocabulary words and definitions will be completed in class. Students will then be asked to write complete sentences using their vocabulary words. Study spelling words for that week. |
| Wednesday | One comprehension story will be given to be done at home. They are asked to use all the strategies that we will be teaching them. Please remember that these are in preparation for the TAKS test that will be administered in February. Also, a reminder, your child must pass this test to continue to the fourth grade. Therefore, please ask that your student use their strategies. Study Spelling Words for that week. |
| Thursday | Study for the tests on Friday. |
| Fridays | NO HOMEWORK!!! |
Math Homework
2nd Semester
| Worksheets will be sent out weekly to provide practice in all math objectives. Each worksheet will have 6 to 8 problems. Your child should be able to show their thinking, or strategies, for getting each answer. Marking only the answer will not be acceptable. We will check these papers daily to provide practice for the end of the year TAKS Math Test. | ||
