Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year, the year of many changes.  First let me congratulate each of you for the instructional support you provide your children at home.  Good attendance also helped us attain T.E.A. Recognized status for the 2006-2007 school year.  Your continuous support of our excellent teaching staff continues to make a difference.  Keep up the good work.

This year promises to be an even better one with our new campus theme "Believe and Achieve".  The new theme inspires us all to keep focused on attaining exemplary school status as we commit to the following goals.

      We can:

  • Be a supportive campus
  • Be positive communicators
  • Be creative and energetic
  • Be prepared and consistent
  • Be optimist

We encourage our parents and school community to also embrace these goals as we guide students to higher levels of learning.

Soon we will start our PTO and Parent Advisory Committee meetings.  We invite you to join PTO at $2.00 per family and to get involved in our numerous calendar activities.  Look for the monthly calendars in your child's backpack along with office correspondence to keep you updated on meeting and activities dates.

Additional changes to our campus include two new PK portable classrooms, additional parking, and a TEKS/TAKS tutoring lab.  Be on the look out for announcements on the marquee.  Let's make this a great year!
